About Michael
Meet Michael Orth
Farmer. Family Man. Fighter for Oregon.
Michael Orth is a lifelong Oregonian, farmer, and small business owner who has spent decades working the land and raising a family in House District 36. He knows firsthand the challenges facing Oregon families — rising costs, failing schools, and communities that feel left behind by Salem.
Michael and his wife have built their life in rural Oregon, raising their children with the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and community. Two of his sons serve in law enforcement — which is why Michael's commitment to backing the blue is deeply personal, not just political.
As a farmer and small business owner, Michael has seen the impact of excessive taxes, burdensome regulations, and out-of-touch policies coming from Salem. He's running for Oregon House District 36 to bring common-sense leadership back to the Capitol.
Michael believes in lower taxes, school choice, reinstated graduation requirements, and full support for law enforcement. He will fight every day for the families, farms, and communities of HD 36.
